Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description JOB Summary To provide bowling customers with prompt, efficient, courteous service and to ensure that maximum utilization of lanes and equipment is realized through efficient control of the flow of customers.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter center.
Assign open lanes to customers.
Keep track of lanes as they open up and assign them to customers.
Rent shoes and help customers locate suitable bowling balls.
Take payment from customers, checking score sheets and making correct change.
Start league play according to schedule.
Handle customer phone inquiries.
Page customers within facility.
Make promotional P.

announcements.
Keep alert for rowdy customers who may be disturbing others.
Notify mechanic or Pin chaser promptly of any pinsetter malfunctions.
Direct porter to ensure that clean conditions are maintained throughout bowling center and party rooms.
Handle all customers' complaints, using good judgment before referring to Supervisor on duty.
Implement Promotions.
Assist and correct problems that occur in bowler's area when needed, such as automatic scoring corrections, sticky approaches, removal of balls trapped under lanes.
Maintain a neat, clean orderly and properly supplied work station.
Responsible for register receipts, cash and checks.
Refer customers to League Sales Coordinator to book reservations for parties or special events.
Other duties may be assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Thorough knowledge of the bowling aspect of a bowling center is preferred.
Must have basic math skills Must be computer literate knowledge working with excel or Microsoft office.
Must be able to speak, write and read fluent English.
Ability to communicate with customers in appropriates manner.
Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or must obtain upon hire.
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent is preferred 2-year work experience in related field Prior bowling experience and experience with a cash register is preferred.
